The BABS Harmony College weekend was simply amazing, I had such a good time, learning new skills, meeting new people and eating! Beth and I spent the first day doing a 'basics of directing' course from which I picked up a couple of handy hints to help co-direct the IVY League. The second day was spent 'Discovering my voice' which I'm glad to say was found, thanks to the expertise of the coaches, and extra special thanks to Mark Grindall and Simon Hilton :) In one of the pick and mix sessions I went along to listen to Q.E.D, the current Gold medallists and even got the chance to sing with them which I thoroughly enjoyed, despite singing rather badly :S I am really looking forward to getting back to the IVY League to put my skills into practice and I would like to thank The IVY League for sponsoring me for this amazing weekend!!

At the BABS Harmony College I took Basics of music, which taught me how to read music. Everyone on the course was lovely and very helpful. Its hard to choose a best bit from this weekend, so I'm going to choose two. First I'll have to say singing Fame with the ladies scratch chorus which was great fun, and secondly i think it would be the afterglows which were a great chance to catch up with folks and getting to know people better. All in all a great weekend!!!
