Introductions

Hi My name is Kate and my daughter (Amelia - aged 8) and I are coming along on Sunday to Birmingham. This will be Amelia's first real taster of performing in barbershop - she does however attends lots of rehersals and the shows for the Chorus I am in - Lace city singers - and her daddy in Major Oak Chorus.

We are both really looking forward to Sunday and meeting you all.

Hi Kate and Amelia,

Looking forward to meeting you on Sunday - I hope you enjoy singing with us. The teaching tracks are all on this site for you to download. The main songs we will be working on are Live Til I Die and Summer Nights. Summer Nights is quite long and complicated so don't worry too much if you don't learn it all! It's fine to use music when you start.

We start at 9.45 and finish at about 5pm. Don't forget to bring some lunch!

We too are looking forward to it. Not quite sure how much Amelia will be able to do - first time! , but we will see what happens. I am sure with a little encouragement she will be fine.
