CONGRATULATIONS

to the IVY League's Sweet Adelines members for a fantastically successful weekend.

A number of IVY League girls are in Sweet Adelines quartets and choruses and they had a very successfull weekend at the Region 31 Competition in Birmgham earlier this month.

Congratulations to our Lead Section Leader Emmy's quartet, Breakthrough, who came 3rd and also won the 'Most Improved' award.  Well done too to Emma and Gemma  who also did very well, narrowly missing 5th place and to Claire's new quartet who came home 15th.

Huge congratulations also go to our members in the 1st placed chorus, Lace City and also Heartbeat (2nd in the mid-size chorus comp) and Somerset Hills (2nd in the small chorus comp).

Very well done too to the 2007 Rising Star Quartet, Luminous, which features IVY League member, Ellie, on bass - they came 2nd in the Region 5 competion held in the US.

We'd also like to say very well done to our regular coach Nicky's quartet, Flaunt, who came in 4th
